A live, evolving action plan

There are many things that can, and should, be done to get things right for children, young people, and adults with a learning disability. We want policy makers to act on the issues and actions discussed in the ‘For Policy Makers‘ pages. But we know that we cannot wait for change to be solely imposed from above – we need to take actions in our everyday lives and day-to-day work to improve things.

These pages capture the actions that CB-NSG members and other individuals have identified as needed, and are currently taking, with the intention of adding new actions and updating the ones currently there as progress is made and more actions are identified.

Through the work to co-produce these actions, we identified that it would be useful to split them into short-term, medium-term, and long-term actions – on each page, you can see which actions fall under which category.
