Forward Together Project Manager

We are recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Forward Together Project Manager, with experience of best practice, key policy and the issues affecting children and/or adults with learning disabilities and behaviour described as challenging, to lead the final year of our Forward Together project

Our Forward Together project, funded through the National Lottery Community Fund, works with 3 regions to connect with local stakeholders, develop a regional Community of Practice, facilitate meetings, agree and implement actions and link to the established Challenging Behaviour National Strategy group (CB NSG). We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Forward Together Project Manager, with experience of best practice, key policy and the issues affecting children and/or adults with learning disabilities and behaviour described as challenging, to lead the final year of this project.

You will:

  • Ensure findings of the project encourage local action in the 3 areas and national action via our CB-NSG

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 FTE

LocationCBF office, Chatham (5 min walk from Chatham train station). Remote/Hybrid Working will be considered.

Travel: Travel across the UK is required

Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2027

Additional information  

The role requires:

  • Occasional travel across the UK for meetings and events, which may involve some overnight stays
  • The ability to work at the office in Chatham when required, as agreed with the CEO

  • To fulfil this role, you must have the right to work in the UK
