BBC Disclosure Documentary: Locked in the Hospital
BBC Disclosure has aired a documentary investigating why four young men with learning disabilities in Scotland have been stuck in secure hospitals for years.
Gemma, our Family Support Lead is running the 2022 London Marathon in support of the CBF.
The CBF want to wish Gemma good luck in running the Marathon on the 2nd of October.
When Gemma is not training for the marathon, she is at the forefront of the Family Support Services, providing information and guidance about challenging behaviour associated with severe learning disabilities.
Please know that your grit and determination and everything you have shared with me about your wonderful sons, daughters, sisters and brothers will be at the forefront of my mind when this run gets inevitably hard.
