As a small national charity, your donations help us provide vital information and support, share best practice and influence change. We are very grateful to everyone who donates or fundraises for us, and regular donations are particularly valuable in helping us to plan for the future.
We would like to reach a point where the CBF is no longer needed, because children, young people and adults with severe learning disabilities and their families are well supported by a joined-up system. Unfortunately, there is a long way to go and the external context we are operating in means there is almost more need for the CBF now than when we were first established nearly thirty years ago.
With your help we can continue to support families, share best practice and influence policy, working towards a future where the CBF will no longer be needed, because children, young people and adults with severe learning disabilities and their families are well supported by a joined-up system.

Gift Aid
The Gift Aid scheme lets the CBF claim back the tax on anything you donate to us. That’s an extra 25p for every £1 you give, and it won’t cost you a penny. If you pay at least as much UK Income tax as the amount you donate to charity within the tax year, you can help us out with Gift Aid. When donating online just click ‘yes’ for Gift Aid to be claimed automatically or complete the relevant section of our standing order form. If you are donating by post, please download a Gift Aid form and send it with your donation.
