Challenge yourself

We are pleased to announce that we have just started an exciting partnership with Run for Charity, offering you access to over 900 fundraising events. Whether you want to walk, run, cycle, or get muddy, now you can do it all while raising money for the CBF.   

There is also accessible events including Parallel Windsor (**coming soon**), a festival of inclusivity with challenge events for all ages, health conditions and abilities. The event is held in the grounds of the majestic Windsor Great Park and staged on the iconic Long Walk. Walk, push or run – there are no cut off times with the motto ‘start together, finish whenever’.

Everybody who starts gets a medal, t-shirt and goody bag. Choose from: 100m, 1K, 5K, 10K or SuperSensory. Parallel’s innovative SuperSensory supports neurodiversity and participants with profound and multiple learning disabilities to exercise their senses over a series of challenges such as engaging with sound, taste, touch, and smell.

There is also the option to purchase a Virtual Entry ticket. All Virtual entries receive a medal and t-shirt. As a fully accessible event, Parallel Windsor has on-site parking, accessible toilets, accessible changing, medical support, sensory space and quiet space. All support and assistance animals are welcome. 

Parallel Windsor aims to be inclusive of people with disabilities, including people with severe learning disabilities. Families should consider the individual’s support needs and whether a large outdoor event with crowds and sensory stimulation is appropriate for them.
