The Challenging Behaviour Foundation is recruiting for our next cohort of Workshop Facilitators, and we want YOU to join our team!

About Us

The Challenging Behaviour Foundation is a registered national charity (based in Kent) that makes a difference to the lives of children and adults with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges and their families.  We have a reputation for driving change at an individual, local, and national level. We have co-developed a range of practical workshops these workshops are delivered by a PBS trainer and a family carer co trainer, this gives a balance between theory and real-life experiences. 

Position: Workshop Facilitator

Purpose of this Post

  • To co-deliver engaging and informative workshops including Understanding Challenging Behaviour & Supporting Behaviour Change (Positive Behaviour Support).  
  • Share practical insights and strategies based on your experience with PBS. 
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for participants. 
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team passionate about making a positive impact. 
  • Work with families and professionals to identify other areas of support and link them into these networks. 

The successful candidates will have: 

  •  Proven experience as a PBS practitioner and/or family carer. 
  • Good Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Passion for empowering others and making a difference in the lives of individuals with behaviours that challenge.
