Informing Best Practice for Children and Families
The Paving the Way project (formerly known as the Early Intervention Project) aims to deliver better outcomes across the country for children with learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges.
Challenging Behaviour National Strategy Group (CB-NSG)
The CB-NSG was founded in 2008, and it is an action-focused collaborative that plans strategically to deliver real change for children and adults with learning disabilities who display challenging behaviours. The Challenging Behaviour Foundation chairs the CB-NSG, and other core members are family carers, people with learning disabilities, representatives of professional bodies, researchers, service providers and practitioners.

Social Care Institute for Excellence ‘At-a-Glance’ Guides
Three ‘At a glance’ guides aimed at family carers supporting people whose behaviour is described as challenging are available. The guides have been developed in collaboration with the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE). There are separate guides for adults, teenagers and children.
