CB-NSG October 2020: New Normal for Good Outcomes

We know that some aspects of the pandemic restrictions have made life harder for people with learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges and their families. However, there have been some aspects which have improved life for this group. This meeting will include considering learning from the pandemic, and actions needed to ensure services and work practices deliver good outcomes for people with learning disabilities as we move into a ‘new normal’.  In the meeting, learning from the NHSE trauma collaborative and the ‘new normal’ research by CB-NSG members will be discussed and together an action plan will be developed to take the work forward.

Check back here for updates, we will keep this page updated with the latest information from the meeting and all the actions, workshop write-ups and outcomes.

We will be live tweeting about the event on the 8th October and posting on our social media.
