Using the law to fight cuts resource updated

“Using the law to fight cuts”, a practical guide to help campaigners to help fight cuts to services for people with a learning disability, has been updated. The paper is aimed at individuals with disabilities, their families and local support groups to enable them to fully understand what the law requires.

The guide, written by Steve Broach, a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers and Kate Whittaker, a consultant solicitor at Scott-Moncrieff & Associates, focusses on challenging cuts to services for disabled adults. It also provides information on solicitor firms who may be able to offer support in the field of disability rights.
