Free Study Pack and Free Family Support Workshops

The CBF is developing a new Supporting Behaviour Change self-study pack based on CBF workshops for schools and colleges. The aim is to develop consistent positive behavioural support for children and young people with severe learning disabilities or moderate learning disabilities & autism to help them reduce the severity and frequency of their challenging behaviour, in turn reducing the stress and anxiety of those who support them. The CBF run family carer workshops to complement the study pack. If your school or college would like to benefit from a free copy of the study pack, orders placed between now and March 31st 2013 will be supplied at no cost due to a Department for Education grant funding with delivery in February/March 2013.

To complement the study pack, the CBF is also taking bookings for free family carer workshops to be held at schools/colleges from now until the end of March 2013. The workshops require no staff input other than liaising with families and providing the venue. CBF workshops come with free follow up support for family carers from the Family Support Service. The family workshops can be provided at no charge - subject to availability - from now until the end of March 2013 ahead of the study pack being published.

You can place an advance order for a free pack and book the free family workshops now by emailing or ringing 01634 838739.
