15th Anniversary Appeal

The CBF has been in existence for 15 years this year. We would like to celebrate this anniversary year by reaching more families who are in need of our support and we have set ourselves a fundraising target of £15,000.

Here are some of the activities we could undertake if we are successful in reaching our target:

Develop CBF’s social networking so that we can support at least 100 more families each year, including providing a means of support outside of office hours
Recruit and train 15 more family carer volunteers who could help support other families national
Run a targeted communications project to “gatekeeper” professionals throughout the UK to raise awareness of our services and help them to refer more families to us for support

In December 2011 we started our “15 events for 15 years” campaign and whilst the CBF office staff chose to dress up as Santa and run around Greenwich Park in London, a team of runners from Chaucer Insurance ran through muddy puddles and much harder terrain to raise money for the CBF.
