Who’s Challenging Who? Staff training in the Post-Winterbourne View era
Mencap Cymru, in partnership with Bangor University, is hosting a conference at Cardiff Metropolitan University on Thursday 14th June. The conference will discuss the development and outcomes of a training programme, "Who’s Challenging Who?", which attempts to improve staff attitudes and empathy towards those with challenging behaviour. The training session has been co-authored and is co-delivered by individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
